2018 WCCC Donate My Rebate Options
All renewing members of the West Chester Cycling Club will receive a $25.00 rebate check as a thank you for being a member and for renewing in a timely fashion for the 2018 cycling season.
Like past years, the WCCC members are asked to consider donating their rebate check to a worthy, local, cycling-related cause.
The WCCC Board of Directors recognizes that there are many outstanding charities that the club has supported through its members in the past and they are asking that donors consider the following cycling-related, local, causes.
BVHAC Challenge for Cancer
The BVHAC Challenge for Cancer is a cause long supported by the West Chester Cycling Club through ridership, sponsorship and ride ambassadorship! The 19th annual ride is on Sunday, June 25, 2017 and all money raised by this event benefits The Cancer Center of Chester County and the Neighborhood Hospice in conjunction with the Chester County Hospital’s 125th Anniversary. Pedaling4Paws and the CCSPCA
Pedaling4Paws (P4P) is a charity bike ride with events in Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, and Colorado (and more to follow) to raise money for animal shelters. It is in its 8th year and P4P has supported the Chester County SPCA locally as well as 17 other shelters along the 500 mile route from West Chester to Canada. Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo is a cycling event on or around May 5th (May 1, 2016 this year) that supports the Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports. The event raises money to make it possible for people with disabilities in your community to enjoy the sport of cycling. For more information visit

Ride Ataxia
Ride Ataxia is a ride this October 16, 2016 that benefits the Friederich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA). FARA is supporting research that will improve the quality and length of life for those diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA); Kyle Bryant, who has ridden with WCCC, has FA and is the founder / director of Ride Ataxia. Domestic Violence Center of Chester County (DVCCC)
The Domestic Violence Center of Chester County (DVCCC), founded in 1976, is the only agency in Chester County providing services exclusively for victims of domestic violence and their dependent children. The programs include: 24 hour crisis hotline; adult individual and group trauma-informed counseling; Emergency Safe House; Bridge Diversion Housing; Phase IV Independent Housing (thirteen 3 bedroom townhomes); legal counseling and advocacy; children’s programs; referrals to other resources as needed, and public education. DVCCC has served more than 48,000 victims of domestic abuse, averaging over 3,000 new and continuing adult survivors and their children each year. All services are confidential and each one, including legal advice and representation, is offered free of charge. Services are provided at confidential sites and at satellite offices in Oxford, Kennett Square, Coatesville, and Phoenixville, PA. For more information visit
