Two different trends are taking place in the industry; web services driven by IBM, Microsoft, BEA and others, and Model Driven Architecture, driven by the OMG. Model driven architecture describes how to create standards based, technology independent models of business concepts, and then map them to different specific technologies.
This session describes where and how to applies these techniques to web service applications to enjoy the future-proofing benefits of MDA and maximize the cross platform integration capabilities of web services.
